Bubel Family {Fort Saskatchewan Family Photographer}

September 21 was one of my best friend’s wedding. Because I was in the wedding party, I partied extra hard & as a result Lisa & I were once again the LAST ones to leave the reception! Luckily we stayed overnight in Edmonton Saturday night so it only made sense to book this family session in Fort Saskatchewan on the Sunday after the wedding. Other than being a bit tired from dancing the night away the night before, we had a great time working with Chance, Shannon, & Emmett (who turns one at the end of the month)!

We shot this session on the first day of autumn at the beautiful Turner Park in downtown Fort Saskatchewan. Emmett is such a happy boy & was a pleasure to work with – I especially adored Emmett’s curly hair! After taking the family photos, we brought out a cake to capture Emmett’s first cake smash. Emmett was starting to get tired so wasn’t 100% into smashing the cake as we expected him to. Nevertheless, Emmett got his little hands dirty which made for a great finish to the session.
