Kodak Instamatic X-35F {Personal Post}

This past summer my Baba gave me a bunch of her old film cameras, knowing that I love photography. One of these relics were a Kodak Instamatic X-35F square-format camera. This camera belonged to my dad’s brother who I unfortunately never got a chance to meet (he died at a very young age from Cancer). Anyway, the 126 cartridge film for this camera was discontinued in 2008 but lucky for me, my Baba still had a couple of boxes of unopened film. I shot all 24 photos this past summer but had trouble finding a lab that would develop this discontinued film. Turns out Black’s Photo was able to send away the film to be developed. After waiting 2 LONG months, my film was finally ready! I’m so happy with the way these photos turned out, considering the film is over 30 years old! Here’s some of my favorites photos taken this summer; whether it was at the lake, rural Alberta, or our trips to Drumheller & Invermere. Enjoy!

PS…my wife is hot!
